A scoop of March
Can you believe that the first quarter of the year is already over? Meanwhile I enjoy the longer days, the birds singing in the morning and a good cup of tea while I think about new steps for my creative career. And as I watch the clouds go by, the idea of a monthly digital “Postcard” popped up. In this postcard I want to give you a little wrap up about whats up in my studio, whats inspiring me lately aaaand… on top of that I want to share some gems directly out of my sketchbooks.
If you ask me - I LOVE to look at sketchbooks of other artists. It gives a very private glimpse of a person, I especially appreciate this in times of all these “picture perfect” social media posts. A sketchbook is a safe space, it is not glamorous, nothing perfectly rendered, no space for perfectionism. It is just a super intime place to explore your own ideas, feelings, thoughts and skills.
So lets deep dive right into last months sketches. All UNCENSORED.
