December
Dear lovely people!
Get your ugliest sweaters out of your closets,it’s Christmas! Wham! playing in the background, big glittery earrings sparkling, cookies all day and a very deep breath for all the cozy but sometimes intense family gatherings. I hope you feel loved, relaxed and very festive today <3 And if not, I send you the biggest fluffy tight hug in the world!
Hey hey, lovely!
I know it’s a bit late — but isn’t it crazy how time in December seems to slip through our fingers like snow-white sand?
It probably didn’t help that I was sick for most of the month. I lost almost three weeks and barely had the energy to write or sit at the computer. It was a total knock-out.
But anyway — we’re back in the game now, and the end of the year is near. Time to reflect.
For me, this was probably the wildest year of mylife: my very first year as a mom. WHOA, WHAT!?
And looking back, it was also the most beautiful and fulfilling year I’ve ever had. I never, ever expected life with this tiny human to feel so rich. Yes, it’s exhausting, and I am alwaystired — but being someone’s ultimate comfort zone is the most incredible feeling in the world. And I don’t even have to do anything for it. How cute is that?
So much trust and love without conditions. It’s wild. And it’s beautiful. I adore tiny hands, giggles, and all those small, heart-melting gestures.
Workwise, it’s been a wild year too. I realized that I always want so much, but time is even shorter now. I’m still learning how to prioritize and how to decide what I truly, really want. I’m getting closer, step by step.
At the same time, the illustration industry is under so much pressure right now. The economy, AI, everything feels upside down. Even well-established illustrators and creatives are struggling to land projects and make a living. That’s why I’m incredibly grateful for my “bread job” haha. At least it’s something I can rely on at the moment.
So… what intentions do I want to set for the coming year?
Fewer projects, with a stronger focus
More clarity about my dream clients’ — and how to attract them
More space for painting and pure creativity
Returning to a healthy training routine — my body is really craving movement
What do you want to leave behind in 2025?
And what intentions are you setting for the new year? Maybe you’ll think about it while sitting by a crackling fire, hot cocoa in hand, with snow falling quietly outside. ✨
Wishing you happy holidays and a super sparkling start into 2026! ✨🤍 See you on the other side!
